Family Art Project: Nature's Canvas Bag
Wave Hill
Saturday, Jul 04 - 10:00AM-1:00PM Create a leafy or budding impression on an everyday canvas bag that you can take everywhere! Make your mark by cutting out shapes and stamping simple nature prints. Create it as a memento of your time at Wave Hill or to show off your love of nature.Free, and admission to the grounds is free until noon.
Village of Mamaroneck Fireworks
Display at Harbor Island Park
Start off your Fourth of July at Mamaroneck’s firework celebration. Taking place at Harbor Island Park, a daylong firemen’s carnival will kick off the event at 4 pm. There will be a plethora of rides and food stands to choose from, and The Saint Thomas Orchestra will set the mood with patriotic melodies at 8 pm. The annual firework show will start at 9:30, with the Long Island Sound serving as the perfect backdrop for it all. Arrive early for prime parking.
