Slow down this summer with Sunset Wednesdays at Wave Hill. Watch the sun set over the Palisades, revel in the cool Hudson River breezes and enjoy the lush beauty of one of New York City’s horticultural gems. Unwind with restorative sessions of Outdoor Yoga, and explore the world renowned gardens on a Guided Garden Walk. During Nature in a Nutshell, join naturalist and educator Gabriel Willow on a walk through the grounds, and get acquainted with a different specimen of flora or fauna each week. Visit Glyndor Gallery to view Seven Deadly Sins:Wrath, Force of Nature and immersive installations in the Sunroom Project Space. Take in a live performance on the Great Lawn—or simply put your feet up and relax amidst the natural splendor of this summer oasis. There’s no better way to celebrate the sweetness of summer evenings.

The Colors of Summer series onWave Hill’s Great Lawnfeatures acclaimed New York City artists. The last two Wednesdays—jazz on July 29 and folkloric music and dance on August 5—are co-produced with the Bronx Music Heritage Center (BMHC), an initiative of WHEDco.
Enjoy a picnic on the lawn—no blankets, please!—or select from the The Café’s supper menu for a meal on the Kate French Terrace of historic Wave Hill House. The Café will offer light entrees and snacks, along with wine, beer and a specialty cocktail.
